KEMI ADETIBA ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF KING OF BOYS 2

After a long wait, Nigeria movie producer, Kemi Adetiba has announced the release date of the second part of King of Boys is Friday 27th August 2021.

She announced this on her Instagram page where she also added that KOB 2 is no longer called KING OF BOYS 2 because it is not a movie It’s a 7-PART LIMITED SERIES!!! and Nigeria’s first Netflix Original series.
Recall that creator Kemi Adetiba released a 4-minute teaser for “King of Boys 2” that set social media a buzz with excitement back in 2020. 

The seven-part series is now called King of Boys: The Return Of The King!!!
The series would feature Sola Sobowale, Nse Ike Etim, Toni Tones, Reminisce, Richard Mofe Damijo, Illbliss, Deyemi Okanlawon, Charly Boy, Osas Ighodaro among other actors.

Produced by Kemi Adetiba Visuals, “King Of Boys: The Return of The King” is a sequel to the hugely successful 2018 crime political drama. The film was critically acclaimed for its gripping storyline and has remained on the list of highest-grossing Nigerian films to date. Sola Sobowale and Adesua Etomi-Wellington also won the 2019 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for ‘Best Actress In A Leading Role’ and ‘Best Actress in a Supporting Role’, respectively

NO CURFEW, EVERYTHING REMAINS INTACT IN LAGOS SAYS DR(MRS) JOKE SANWO-OLU

The wife of  Lagos State Governor, Dr( Mrs) Joke Sanwo-olu has taken to alert the general public contrary to misinformation  that curfew has not been announced in Lagos  State. She said "The state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu dropped the idea of imposing a curfew in the state meant to allow the fumigation exercise of public space." Relying on expert advice the Governor said the disinfectant is non toxic, noting that the exercise has commenced. He said: I'm pleased to note that we have taken possession of over 200 disinfecting machines, and starting today, we will be disinfecting all major highways, bus stops, markets, parks and other public areas." The Death Of The Yoruba Monarch Alaafin of Oyo

                             The demise of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, who was said to have died    April 22, 2022 at Afe Babalola Multi-System Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, AMSH has thrown the Yoruba race into mourning. According to sources at the hospital, the king who was 83 years old was brought into the hospital and was been treated of a chronic illness five days before his death. Though at some point in time of the news being spread, there was confusion over the validity of the news on social media as a result of the statement made by the king’s Media and Publicity Director, Bode Durojaye where he urged members of the public to disregard the news of the king’s death saying the paramount ruler is hale and healthy.
