Killing Freezing Temperature storms Syrians refugee camp

 

According to the United Nation millions of refugees In northwest Syria due to the ongoing needs a quick intervention as freezing winter temperatures persist to make living condition unbearable.

  Mr. cutts, the United Nation's deputy coordinator to the Syria therefore call upon the international community to come to the aid of these people as they are some of the most vulnerable people in the world. Emphasizing on how millions of people are displaced  and how more tents are destroyed he said the major challenge is to locate to a better and safer conditions.

Mr Cutts went ahead to explain the need of finding an urgent solution to what seems to be a rising problem at the moment. In his statement he made it known that some are already seeking accommodation in mosques, schools, and other public building owing to the over three thousand tents that were badly damaged and some even destroyed completely.  He said 

"we had a lot of work to do in opening up of the roads, get mobile health teams to these places. It's on a huge scale"


With wood sodden by the weather, people are forced to burn plastic on fires inside tents to stay warm, resulting in toxic fumes which then make children sick.

According to Dr Abd Al Basit Sulieman there is lack of support for more than 18 health facilities in the liberated north. Many local hospitals has been destroy by war, the available ones are overstressed as they attends to huge number of sick children. and most of these sick children comes in a state of suffocation or semi-suffocation caused by bronchiolitis which is as a result of the continuous usage of plastic materials for heating up the tents .
