THE BROKE BLACK BOYS


 Asking a lady out on OAU campus and any where in the world has never been a crime until 5th of February 2021 that a screen recorded video went viral

The so called Afolabi Ayokunmu Mary has the identity revealed through students that are able to penetrate into her school Portal who happens to be a 200level student of the department of biochemistry.  The Duration of the  viral video is just 18secs but it was a big hit, according to the voice note from the screen recording the humble guy was trying to toast Mary but it turn out against him, as Mary reply seems to turn out in a more insultive manner saying 

  “even if you use charm i cannot date you, you are not in my league, you are not in my set, you are not my spec, you don’t have anything, you don’t money, you are broke, you are black, you are short, you are not even in good department, you are in animal science and you are trying to ask me out, what  is all these nonsense, I don't like it, I can not date you"

 It was later confirmed that the guy that asked her out is also in the same department with Mary according to the "OFFICIAL RELEASE ON THE VOICE NOTE" made by Electrified the Assistant General Secretary of NSBS (Nigeria Society Of Biochemistry) Executives.  But the reason why Mary address the guy to be from Animal science still remain unknown.

The video which was said to be released by the guy who happen to ask Mary out, was rebroadcasted by Yabaleft with thousands of viewers hours after the video started to circulate. This leads to the trooping out of most of the male students on OAU campus for a protest as they see it as disgrace and public humiliation to there gender

The popular DJ yke spices up the video by giving it a good beat which also turned on the protesters as they headed towards Mozambique Hall which happens to be Mary hostels shouting aloud

 "All we want to see is Mary"

The protest continued till about 11 pm before the intervention of the OAU security which eventually brought serenity to the atmosphere.

NO CURFEW, EVERYTHING REMAINS INTACT IN LAGOS SAYS DR(MRS) JOKE SANWO-OLU

The wife of  Lagos State Governor, Dr( Mrs) Joke Sanwo-olu has taken to alert the general public contrary to misinformation  that curfew has not been announced in Lagos  State. She said "The state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu dropped the idea of imposing a curfew in the state meant to allow the fumigation exercise of public space." Relying on expert advice the Governor said the disinfectant is non toxic, noting that the exercise has commenced. He said: I'm pleased to note that we have taken possession of over 200 disinfecting machines, and starting today, we will be disinfecting all major highways, bus stops, markets, parks and other public areas." The Governor also said during a live press conference that if there's a need for curfew, Government won't hesitate to impose it. For now, everything remains the way they are

The Death Of The Yoruba Monarch Alaafin of Oyo

                             The demise of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, who was said to have died    April 22, 2022 at Afe Babalola Multi-System Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, AMSH has thrown the Yoruba race into mourning. According to sources at the hospital, the king who was 83 years old was brought into the hospital and was been treated of a chronic illness five days before his death. Though at some point in time of the news being spread, there was confusion over the validity of the news on social media as a result of the statement made by the king’s Media and Publicity Director, Bode Durojaye where he urged members of the public to disregard the news of the king’s death saying the paramount ruler is hale and healthy.
