Fellow students need to stay away from unconfirmed reports and rumors - PRO

Rumours has it that the CSO of the students union harassed a Campus Bike man as a result of him not complying to his request.
His request was said to be that he asked the Bike man to carry more than a passenger which is against the school rules.
The public Relations Officer of the Student Union Electoral commission at an interview declared it as a fake news.
On a request to speak with Great Ife Students Union Chairman, our correspondent was directed to the PRO popularly known as Catalyst Where he claimed that wasn’t the situation.
He claimed the accused was fighting for his right when the bike man charged him above the normal fixed price for bike rider within the campus. Supporting his claim, he took our correspondent to the bike men stand at the SUB bus stop where the bike men testified to it that there is no case as serious as a students hitting a bike rider.
The bikemen said if there was any such case in any of the zonal junction within the corners of campus they would have heard at their own junction.
“Fellow students need to stay away from unconfirmed reports and rumors, it won’t help the union stand putting up lies that the CSO has bitten up a bike man and the bike men are confirming that the incidence never occurred point out to the fact that some unscrupulous element are somewhere that are ready to ruin other people’s name because of the political interest they have, and that has to stop now.” Catalyst said
He urges the news agency to endeavor to tackle fake news, and also the ACJ to buckle up their sandals to tackle any fake news been spread.
