ACJ-OAU ACTIVATES REPORT PORTAL TO STUDENTS

The Association of Campus Journalists Obafemi Awolowo University activates its first Report Portal in history under the administration of Titilola Dayo.

The Association of Campus Journalists, OAU is set up on the tenets and standards of journalism, to provide accurate and timely news through our news agencies. The association further holds the power and responsibility to inform the generality of OAU students through investigative stories and insider reports.

The Association  release The portal as a way of reaching the Investigative Unit to report events as they are happening.

According to the  Press release by ACJ-OAU:"This activation is borne out of the intention to collaborate with the students and school management while also serving as the voice of the students. It is also in the light of recent rumors of oppression and intimidation. We understand the school community is more like another state itself where instances like theft, threat, oppression, misconduct, bullying, and all other social ills may be experienced. However, we want to assure you that you are not alone.

We have formed strong partnerships with mainstream news platforms and we’ll be working together to ensure our aims are achieved. So we implore all members of the university community to say something if they see something. As long as it concerns the students of this great university, we are interested.

Report misconduct, bullying, oppression, extortion, threats, and every other act that does not paint the school in a good light. The Association of Campus Journalists operates to sustain sanity in our democratic setting and we hope students would contribute their efforts to ensure freedom, fairness, and equality are sustained. Together, we can build a safer environment."
